Amy Saavedra, LCSW is a highly experienced psychotherapist with more than a decade of clinical experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to children, adolescents, and adults. She earned her Master of Social Work from Fordham University School of Social Services and her Bachelor of Social Work from Rutgers University. Throughout her career, Amy has worked in outpatient, inpatient, community mental health, educational, and residential treatment settings, supporting individuals facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and trauma-related challenges.
Amy utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach tailored to each client’s unique needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), person-centered therapy, trauma-focused interventions, attachment-based approaches, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based practices. She has extensive experience conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, crisis intervention, and helping clients build resilience and achieve meaningful personal growth.
Amy is currently a clinician with Monarch Counseling Center, where she provides individual therapy to adults in a supportive and collaborative environment. She is dedicated to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore challenges, strengthen coping skills, and work toward lasting emotional wellness. .
